A Great Aussie joke
"Hilarious!!!..........Here`s one for you: This guy buys a Lamborghini and is testing it out on the freeway. He goes up to 100 km/hr (the max in Canada), but feels the car surely has more in it. So he goes up to 120, then to 140. That`s when he sees flashing lights of a police car in his rear view mirror. He speeds up to 160, then to 180.....the cop is still with him. Then, when he is at 200, he suddenly realizes what he is doing. "I could be behind bars for this" he thinks, and pulls over. The cop pulls over too, walks over to this guy in the Lamborghini, and says, "Sir, I`ve had a long and tiring day.....but if you can give me an excuse I`ve never heard before, I`ll let you off the hook." And the guy says, "Officer, my wife ran away with a cop last night.....and when I saw your flashing lights in my rear view mirror, I thought he was bringing her back." The cop walks back to his car without a word."

A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target.

She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside.

The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.

We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens ...

I recently bought a new Merc and as part of the deal, kinda like a than you gift from the dealer, they gave me a coupon for a professional photographer. So we organised ourselves this one Saturday not so long ago and went and had some family shots taken. Needless to say the coupon was simply a way of getting up there, which I had suspected, but I felt that we needed some good shots of the family and now was as good a time as any. The shoot itself could not have gone any better, all the kids were in a good mood and played up to the camera as if they were born to it. The whole exercise only took about 15 minutes, and the photographer said that in all of his 20 something years of photography he had never had such a easy time taking photos of a family. We had a great time, so much so that it seems like the whole exercise just sits in my memory as one big blob of happieness.
